We recognize the growing demand for high-quality, stylish athleisure wear that can seamlessly transition from the gym to everyday life.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, fashionable, and functional products that enable individuals to embrace an active lifestyle while feeling confident and comfortable.
Lifestyle Athletics was created originally with ready-made athletic clothes and we stamped our logo on until not long after we realized we wanted to create athleisure at the time from start to finish.
We started as a home based business, researching manufacturers, testing out samples, embroidering our logo and creating from there. Once we started creating our own designs we began to create sketches, sending them to our manufacturer and making samples from there. We started our own process and design in 2020.
My first set of samples were purchased on 3/24/19 for $253.10, I was working at the time so this wasn't too hard of an investment. My first release was 09/20/19 where I accepted Pre-Orders, I would do pre-orders so much different now than how I did the first time, but you only know what you know and I learned from the 1st pre-order process. I made a total of $458.40 that day.
Finding the right manufacturer for you and your brand is a process. For me, my first manufacturer wasn't "the one". I had a few manufacturers that I worked with in order to find the one that was great for me and my business. We go through the process of "Is this manufacturer providing good quality clothing?", "Is this manufacturer affordable for MY business?" "What are the production and shipping times? Is it a reasonable timeframe?". "How is the communication between me and the manufacturer? Does it take long for responses? Are they professional?" These are just a few questions that I ask myself and the manufacturer to ensure we have a successful business relationship with one another.
Creating this line wasn't just for me, it was so that every woman around could be confident & feel comfortable in their athleisure clothing as well. Not everyone who wears workout clothes actually workout so I wanted to create clothing that was fit for your everyday on-the-go wear. Athleisure is the perfect fit.
One more thing before we go, since 2019 I've had two logos, I started with a heat pressed logo on my 1st custom made clothing to now having a more simple and clean logo that now gets embroidered on the left side of each piece of clothing, rather its a sports bra, leggings, or jacket.

This has been the process and as my cousin says the "evolution" of Lifestyle Athletics by Myia B. This journey has been an interesting, full of ups and downs and highs and lows but we are staying the course and continuing to learn and make improvements along the way.
