Summer, Summer, Summertime!!
Summertime has become one of my favorite seasons and dressing for the summer is ssssoooo easy. I created a very simple Biker Short Set, that came in Pink & Yellow. It was considered the 'Classic Biker Short Set', it was detailed with pockets on both sides of the shorts, a racerback bra and an embroidered logo on both the bra and shorts on the left side of each piece.
I originally thought of the design & created it in 2021 but it didn't released until June 2022. Going through samples, having to change the set from what I originally thought of to something a little more simple because the manufacturer at the time couldn't create what I was looking for (you'll see pictures below), a lot happened but I was patient (as always).
I loved these sets, I was thinking the girlies were loving more of a pop of color and some love the color (I fell in love with the colors) but most were like me wanting and needing a black set in their wardrobe as well (black is coming and will always be added to a release as long as I can make it happen) but anyway, the 'Classic Biker Short Sets' were nice and simple.
This is what the Biker Short Set was "supposed" to look like. This sketch is from 2021, I wanted the elastic around the waist and bra but it couldn't be done at the time.
These were the 1st set of samples I received, they were way too short, I want shorts but nothing like this, my behind was out and I can't have that for myself or ya'll.
This was me measuring again how long the shorts were supposed to be (the samples above didn't even match the sketch above)
These were the new samples after we got the measurement correct
These were the Biker Short Sets in production once all the measurements were accurate
& this was the final look
This was a long time coming but we got it right.
